As the Chief Executive Officer of Walabu Construction S.C., I am honored to lead a team that is shaping the landscape of Ethiopia. Our journey began in 2018 with a clear vision: to deliver world-class infrastructure that fuels economic growth and uplifts communities.
Our Commitment
Walabu Construction was founded with a mandate from the Oromia Regional State to become a catalyst for development. Today, with a capital of ETB 1.1 billion and a Grade I license, we have grown into one of the nation’s most trusted contractors. This growth is a testament to the dedication of our employees, the trust of our clients, and the unwavering support of our shareholders.
We have successfully delivered over 15 major projects, from the Bulbula Agro Industrial Park to vital road and dam infrastructure, with an active portfolio exceeding 16 billion Birr. Every project reflects our core values: Integrity, Excellence, Sustainability, Safety, Customer Focus, Professionalism, and Collaboration. These principles guide our daily decisions and long-term strategy.
Beyond bricks and mortar, we are deeply committed to community impact. Through our unique proposition, we have created over 6,000 jobs, trained local youth, and empowered small-scale enterprises to grow alongside us. We believe that true development circulates wealth within society and leaves no one behind.
