Project Description
The Bulbula Agro Industrial Park is a flagship project of the Oromia Industrial Park Development Corporation, designed to process agricultural products and create value-added exports. Walabu Construction was awarded the contract for Phase I, II, and III, covering an area of over 120 hectares.
The scope of work included the construction of processing facilities, warehousing, administration buildings, internal roads, water supply systems, wastewater treatment plants, and electrical infrastructure. The project was executed with a focus on sustainability, utilizing modern construction techniques and locally sourced materials wherever possible.
This project has created over 800 permanent jobs and more than 2,000 temporary jobs during construction, significantly boosting the local economy. It stands as a testament to Walabu’s capacity to deliver large-scale industrial infrastructure on time and to the highest quality standards.
