Company Overview
Walabu Construction Share Company (WCShC) was established in March 2018 under Ethiopian Commercial Law. With an initial registered capital of ETB 320 million from 12 founding members, we have grown to a capital of ETB 1.1 billion.
As a Grade I General Contractor, we are mandated to execute major civil construction projects including roads, railways, dams, industrial parks, buildings, and electro‑mechanical works. Our goal is to drive the economic revolution of the Oromia Regional State and contribute to Ethiopia’s national development.
Owned by 8 city administrations, 3 public enterprises, and one private individual, our governance is anchored by a Board of Directors representing key shareholders, with the Oromia Regional State as the primary stakeholder.

2021
Capital increased to ETB 1.1 billion; expanded operations to include major infrastructure projects across Oromia.
2023
Successfully completed 15+ projects with total contract value exceeding 2 billion Birr turnover; active portfolio reaches 16 billion Birr.
2025
Employs over 300 permanent staff and has created more than 6,000 jobs (permanent and daily laborers). Fleet expanded to 83+ machinery units.
